The guiding principle at UUM Preschool is that the preschool should provide a loving and nurturing environment that enables children to develop spiritually as well as socially, intellectually, emotionally and physically. The preschool celebrates and honors the spiritual beliefs of the children’s families in a respectful and non-judgmental manner. UUM Preschool is actively and directly sponsored by the University United Methodist Church (UUMC). As an outreach ministry of UUMC, Christian beliefs and practices predominate and form the foundation of the spiritual development curriculum.
